Boylepoker.com will be adding $25,000 to the estimated prize pool of $300,000 and the outright winner can expect to take home around $50,000 of that.

Players will have a starting stack of 8,000 chips, but can increase this to 10,000 by playing at Boylepoker.com. Earn 250 VIP points in August to get an extra 1,000 chips and 250 VIP points in September for another 1,000.

There will be a range of side events with low buy ins held over the course of the three day event including Hold'em, PLO and Round of each (Hold'em and PLO).

In attendance last year were a host of big name poker players such our very own Marty Smyth and Padraig Parkinson, Neil Channing, Jesse May, 'Mad' Marty Wilson, Andy Black and Ian Frazer to name but a few. You can expect a similar showing this year as well as a few surprise guests.

Please note that last year's tournament sold out with over a month to go and due to its success we expect this year's IPO to sell out even quicker.

To register for the tournament simply download the Boylepoker.com software, open the Poker Lobby, go to 'Scheduled Tournaments' > 'Specials' > 'Boylepoker Exclusives' and choose your preferred start date. Registration is due to close on October 15th but players should register early to avoid disappointment as last year’s event sold out long before the closing date. No cash entries will be accepted on the day.

The 2009 Boylepoker International Poker Open will be held at the Regency Airport Hotel, Dublin 9, from October 16th – 18th.
